Handling Information in a Care Setting

Our online course will give you an introduction into handling information within care environments. After completing the course you’ll know why it’s important to have secure handling of information and how to get help if you have questions on how to access information.

In addition to the above, we’ll look at confidentiality and how it builds trusting relationships. We’ll also define key terms such as “need to know” and “consent” and look at legislation around the handling and storing of information and everyone’s responsibilities and obligations.
