This course is aimed at anyone responsible for assessing display screen equipment (DSE) under the Display Screen Equipment Regulations 2002, and anyone who uses DSE for a proportion of their work. You’re a ‘user’ if you use display equipment for more than 1 hour a day.
Display equipment can include:
- Computer or laptop monitor
- CNC equipment
- Diagnostic screens
- Devices containing cathode ray tubes (CRTs)
This type of work is regulated by the Health & Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations, which covers how to use such equipment safely. These regulations are for both employers and workers and there are responsibilities for both.
Course enrollees (employers and employees) will learn everything they must know from how to setup display screen equipment safely through to methods for reducing the risk of work-related injuries. This is an all-encompassing course that will ensure you adhere to the relevant regulations.
